Visitors to BC: Plan your trip well, BC covers a large area and travel takes time, specially in an area as beautiful as BC and the Rocky mountains. Try to plan driving about 400 to 500 km maximum everyday, or even better do just half of that distance! this gives you time to enjoy your surroundings, a cup coffee or lunch in one of the small towns on your way. Enjoy all the adventure, nature walks, hike the trails do a sail cruise or ... Stay a couple nights at the same place, and do and see more things from your "base camp" . Buy a good map and take some of the not so usual routes and enjoy even more of the scenery or explore BC by internet before you start your trip and learn about all the things to do. . Roads in BC are usually very good and safe to drive.
