Guests of BC: Plan your trip well, BC covers a large area and travel takes time, specially in an area as beautiful as BC and the Rocky mountains. Try to plan driving about 400 km maximum everyday, or even better do just half of that distance! this gives you time to enjoy your surroundings, a cup of coffee or lunch in one of the small towns on your way. Enjoy the adventure, nature walks, hike the trails do a sail cruise or better stay a couple nights at the same place, and do and see more things from your "base camp". Buy a quality map and take some of the not so usual routes and enjoy even more of the scenery.  Roads in BC are usually very good and safe to drive. Visit the local visitor information centre or ask your local hosts.
